Post Birthday

Coming from a close knit family, Dad had a post birthday lunch with his dear sisters last Wednesday-ofcourse with mom, me and Nathan in tow. They thought of meeting half-way (we were coming from Las Pinas, one of my aunts in Paranque, one lives in Makati and the other one in QC), and agreed to have lunch in Eastwood-yahoo! haven't been to that place yet. We left the house at 12 (just in time for lunch-hehehe!), picked up Auntie Elvie in Paranaque, passed by Auntie Aurora's place in Forbes (left the car there too-we just used her new Innova to go to QC) then picked up Auntie Marie in QC. By the time we reached Libis it was already past 2pm. Auntie Aurora suggested we look for the resto her apo recommended, but because the folks were getting hungry, they decided to eat in the resto nearest to where we were parked-ITALIANNI'S. Ofcourse I was excited because I have been craving for carbonarra (a few days ago i dropped by French Baker but since they were almost closing, they ran out of Carbonara sauce)-FINALLY!!!

I guess everyone enjoyed lunch-dad had herbed roasted chicken, mom and Nate shared with the angel hair pomodoro, Auntie Aurora ordered an angel hair pasta with tomate based sauce too. Auntie Elvie tried their porkchops and I forgot what Auntie Marie ordered. Since we were celebrating dad's birthday, Italianni's gave us a complimentary slice (big one enuf for 8 people) of their own Tiramisu.

We were done before 4-that includes our picture taking outside Italianni's. We then headed back to Auntie Marie's place. We didn't stay long-just dropped her off because Auntie Aurora had another agenda. The trip from QC back to Makati didn't take too long, not much traffic plus lots of chitchats in the car. Before going back to Forbes, Auntie Aurora brought us to the new establishment in Fort called SERENDRA. It's the new residential mall infront of Market Market. Being a new establishment, there were only a few stalls open-mostly fine dining restos. Then passed by market market to by some fruits and flowers, then headed back to Forbes.

We got home in Las Pinas at past 8. Dad was tired but he seemed to have enjoyed his post birthday celebration. I did too!
