grocery-ing and boody aches

I went to Tampines mall after picking up nathan in school yesterday (at around 1:30 pm). We had TORI-Q, Japanese Yakitori, for lunch (Nathan is soo addicted to their Chicken Karaage) and headed off to Fair-price after, to do some grocery-ing. We picked up a few things we needed at home-some meat, veggies, canned goods, cereals, toiletries, etc. It wasnt really that much but it took us a while to finish -i like strolling around the grocery, looking at the stuff, comparing prices, it relaxes me. :) Anyway, when we were at the counter, what i thought was little summed up to 5 bags (singaporeans are rich in plastic bags, and are very keen in packing/separating stuffs). There were 2 bags that were a bit heavy (the canned stuff and i dont remember the other one) and the other 3 bags I managed to squeeze all its contents in one bag. I had a hard time carrying the plastic bags in my hands, my hand bag on my left shoulder, nathan's backpack on my back and nathan in tow (talk about being bionic. whew!!). Upon reaching the road leading to the bus interchange, it started to rain. Good thing i had an umbrella! Problem is "how do i hold the umbrella with all the bags i was carrying?" Nathan was too short to hold the umbrella for both us and the bags were too heavy for him to carry. No choice but to let him use the umbrella and get myself wet as we walked going to the bus interchange. We got home at around 4pm, and boy was i really tired. Rested a little after that. Watched the results of american idol (bye mandisa.. :( ) and started cooking dinner. Before going to bed last night and when i woke up this morning, i could feel my body aching from my legs up to my shoulders (no, it cant be SOA-signs of oold age). I think its all because of grocery-ing.
